Mystery Bag! All I had was a bunch of red yarn, a measuring tape, and pink paper.

  1. First of all, I really like the idea.

Any chance you could try to "round-out" the string by the four and five?

You should also try to neaten up the loose ends of the yarn you have, especially for the clock hands.

Also, the measuring tape pieces that are horizontal. It could just be the angle, but it looks like there is a bit too much space above the horizontal pieces. I think it would look better if you tried to center the two pieces so that there was equal space between them.

Your measuring tape pieces that are vertical may need a little bit of realigning, especially the one that is second to the bottom, that one sticks out quite a bit.

You do not have to do any of this stuff, these are just suggestions. I think that they will make your project look a little neater though.

  2. I like the idea and the layout a lot. You just need to add your extra medias of your choice now... Like paint, or charcoal. You use these medias to bring everything together so it doesn't look like a collage. You could also try glue on top of the tissue paper to give it a more incorporated look. The glue will make it look molded to the cardboard instead of stuck on top.

  3. Oh, I already put paint on it. It's the blue and green of the continents and ocean. I could add more though! Thanks for the advice!
